88Stories

88 Stories is the umbrella for Jeremy Schonfeld’s music, film, and theatre works. The place all of it will live as one body of work. The studio site is being built; the doors open this summer.

The first piece is The Father Who Stayed (2024) — is a feature-length music-driven cinematic experience about a single father mourning the loss of his only child, daughter Emily Rose. But it is also the story of life and death in America as told by those who have passed on. Parts “Our Town” and “Spoon River Anthology”, and part “The Last Waltz”, The Father Who Stayed is the story of life, told in 27 Songs.
